Our goal is to promote the generation and projection of new creatives in the board game industry as well as the reinvention of the traditional board game, through the design of mechanics in which the viability and authenticity of the production and marketing process are expressed with quality and innovation.

The bases
AIM
Encourage creativity and innovation in board game design. We are looking for original games, at different stages, to recognize the progress and development of games, as well as to bring together the different figures involved in the industry.
PARTICIPANT
The competition is open to anyone over 18 years of age or a minor with a letter of authorization from their legal guardian, without restrictions on nationality.
Participation per contestant is a maximum of 3 projects; they can be individual, in a team or a combination of both (Remember that each project must be registered individually).
Jalapeño collaborators and none of the participating judges are eligible to participate.
Participating games cannot have been previously published.

REGISTRATION
To register, participants must complete the registration form and attach the following documents:
- Game manual (it doesn't have to be the final one, it can be a word, the point is that the rules are written, remember that there is an award for the best manual)
- Technical sheet (Brief description, objective of the game, summary of instructions, components, recommended age, duration of the game, number of players, designers, remember to add a bit of your visual identity in the sheet) See an example
- Short video talking about why the game was created, no more than 10 minutes (you can take advantage of this to tell us or specify some details of the rules)
- Photos of your prototype (at least one closed and one open)
- Print & Play or copy of the game (We will return it to you at the end of the contest at any of the events we attend).
- Confirmation letter of authorship of the game. See an example

- Games that pass this phase will have to participate in events organized by Jalapeño Lab in their cities with the Contest Kit that will be sent via mail, with the aim of obtaining votes from the public.
